I graduated from the University of South Florida with a Masters in Biotechnology in 2020. My work focuses on understanding Toxoplasma gondii cell cycle organization through the use of FUCCI probes.
Dina Salama Post Doctoral Researcher
I joined the Suvorova lab as a post-doc in early 2025. My work is focused on studying the molecular mechanisms through which TgCrk2 and TgCycP1 regulate Toxoplasma gondii endodyogeny.
Clem Marsilia PhD Student
I graduated from the University of South Florida in 2023 with a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences. My research is focused on gaining molecular insights into the cell, lytic, and life cycles of Toxoplasma gondii. Specifically, I am focused on studying how these fundamental processes are influenced by TgCrk2 and regulated by its various cyclin partners.
Amber Goerner Research Scientist and Lab Manager
I graduated from the University of Vermont in 2024 with a Masters in Cellular Molecular and Biomedical sciences. My work in the Suvorova lab focuses on investigating the regulatory mechanisms behind Toxoplasma gondii cell cycle progression using cellular and molecular techniques.
Alexa Cuesta Research Scientist
I graduated from the University of South Florida in 2024 with a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences. My research focuses on understanding the biosynthesis of the Toxoplasma gondii centrosome and its role in the budding process.
